This Privacy Policy describes what data the mobile game Movie Tycoon (the “Game”) collects on iOS and Android, how it is used and what choices you have.

Data stored only on your device

Your game progress and settings, including your choice about statistics, are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us and are deleted when you uninstall the Game.

Usage statistics and crash reports

The Game uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, services of Google LLC.

Consent. Both are switched off when the Game is installed. On the first launch the Game asks whether you allow sending anonymous usage statistics and crash reports; nothing is sent until you tap “Allow”. You can withdraw your consent at any time in Settings > Anonymous statistics, which stops collection immediately.

Google Analytics for Firebase collects:

Firebase Crashlytics collects, when the Game crashes or hits an error: the stack trace, technical log lines, device model, operating system version, orientation, free memory and storage, app version, time of the crash and a random Crashlytics installation ID.

Not collected: names, email addresses, precise location or the contents of your device.

Purpose: understanding how the Game is played and finding bugs and balance problems. The data is used in aggregate, is never used for advertising and is never sold.

Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

Retention: Google keeps user-level analytics data for up to 14 months and crash reports for 90 days; aggregated statistics are kept longer.

In-app purchase

The Game offers one in-app purchase (“Full Game Unlock”). Payment is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies; we never receive your payment details. From the stores we receive only the information they provide to developers, such as a transaction or order ID, date, country, price, currency and refund status, and use it to fulfil the purchase, handle refunds and keep the accounting records required by law.

Legal basis: performance of the contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). Retention: for as long as accounting law requires.

Support

If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up questions.

Recipients and international transfers

Your data is processed by:

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and data processing terms (Google: policies.google.com/privacy and firebase.google.com/support/privacy; Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy), which provide protection of your data equivalent to this policy. Google may process data on servers in the United States; transfers out of the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are covered by Google’s data processing terms, including standard contractual clauses. We may disclose data if required by law.

Your rights

Because the Game has no accounts and collects no contact details, we cannot find your statistics or crash reports by name or email. If you want already collected data to be deleted before the retention period ends, contact us and we will do what is technically possible; otherwise the data is deleted automatically after the retention periods above.

Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is sent to Google over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in Google’s infrastructure, protected by Google’s security measures. Access to the analytics and crash-reporting console is limited to the developer alone. Local game data is kept in the app’s private storage managed by iOS or Android.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the Game or the services it uses change; the current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update at the top. Questions and requests: [email protected].
